Milton Keynes 3-piece Torus drop a new track today, splicing together the urgency of their overdriven riffs with an all too familiar tale of teenage psychological entrapment on the instant kick to the teeth ‘Into The Clear’.

“(Into The Clear) is about feeling drained and allowing yourself to consistently fall into the trap of being manipulated by someone you deeply care for.” – Torus

The video for ‘Into The Clear’ (once again, self-produced by bass player Harry Quinn) is a raw look at life ‘On The Road’ and footage which captures the band’s electric live performance. “No budget, no plan, no problem” is very fitting for the Torus DNA! “All you need to make a music video is a couple of phones, a clip-on fisheye lens, a rehearsal space and a pub. Mix it all together with a bit of film grain and there ya go, sorted.” jokes Harry.

Following on from last month’s launch single ‘Avalanche’, which instantly compelled audiences as Torus’ most loved song, (over 200K streams and 100K monthly listeners on Spotify) the band continue their burgeoning relationship with much-loved producer Thomas Mitchener (Frank Carter / Gallows, The Damned, WARGASM, NOAHFINNCE) & mastering engineer Grant Berry (All Time Low, Hot Milk, Busted).

Expect more new music and further details on their debut album release soon… but for now sit back and enjoy another big riff banger!
