Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for witnesses to an altercation between two men in Lee-on-the-Solent.

Police were called at 7.52pm on 31 January to the incident which occurred at the junction of Manor Way and High Street.

A bottle was used during the incident, and both men sustained blood-letting injuries. One of the men has not been identified and we would urge him to contact police.

A 37-year-old man from Gosport was arrested on suspicion of affray shortly after the incident. He has been bailed with conditions until 30 April while enquiries continue.
