Fareham Borough Council is reminding residents that the time to become a founding sponsor of Fareham Live – the new Community, Arts and Entertainment venue opening in the heart of Fareham later this year – is running out.

‘A Wave of Thanks’ will be a permanent, bespoke piece of artwork for the foyer of this exciting new venue and residents and businesses have the opportunity to become part of the building’s history by sponsoring their own small piece of this artwork.

‘A Wave of Thanks’ will be made up of coloured bars, which will be inscribed with the name of each sponsor.  These bars will then be used to create a ‘sound wave’ design, to depict the audio and visual spectacle that Fareham Live will provide.

Unlike most sponsorship packages, sponsors will not be asked to renew each year, as this piece of artwork will remain a permeant fixture for the life of the venue. There are also a host of additional benefits to enjoy, included in each sponsorship package.

With just the last few gold packages available to the public and a handful of corporate packages remaining, the deadline to secure your sponsorship is 30 April 2024.

Executive member of Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Walker, said: “We know that so many of our residents are passionate about the arts and actively support them. Similarly, Fareham businesses are looking for opportunities promote themselves, while also showcasing their community spirit. This one-off opportunity to become a founding sponsor of Fareham Live and create a lasting legacy, is coming to an end, so I encourage you all to sign up now to enjoy a range of benefits and create a lasting legacy.”
